General purchase conditions

Generally

All names, designations, etc. that appear on ScandVolt AB's (ScandVolts) website (scandvolt.se) are, where appropriate, registered trademarks. The information provided herewith does not constitute any declaration of usefulness, suitability, guarantee, etc. other than where directly stated. Facts and price information are always provided with reservations for printing errors, suppliers' price increases, incorrectly stated technical specifications and for final sales, etc. Published factual and price information, documents, graphics, etc. may contain technical and/or graphic/typographical errors. ScandVolt AB (ScandVolt) disclaims all liability regarding such information as well as other referenced information and/or documents within or linked to this publication.

ScandVolt's current purchase conditions and product information are always displayed on the website and replace all previously published conditions from ScandVolt. In the event of any difference between purchase conditions, prices or product information specified on the website and other publications such as e.g. printed matter, the website takes precedence. ScandVolt reserves the right to change information at any time including - but not limited to - prices, technical specifications, product offers, factual information, etc. without prior notice.

The prices on the website are updated in real time. The prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) excluding VAT, unless the user actively chooses otherwise. Between ScandVolt and the buyer, the price on the website applies unless otherwise specifically agreed. Usual credit checks are carried out when buyers want to trade against an invoice (credit). International export transactions are only carried out against advance payment, bank guarantee or letter of credit.

Force majeure means that ScandVolt can never be held responsible for obstacles beyond our control - such as production and transport disruptions, lightning strikes, prolonged power outages, strikes or other unforeseen events.

Delivery conditions

Buyers who want to pick up their order at one of ScandVolt's warehouses in Sätila or Norsborg can usually do so the same day the order is received. If necessary, ScandVolt ensures that the goods are loaded onto the buyer's transport but the buyer is always personally responsible for the goods being properly secured when the goods are on the transport. During high season, the delivery time may be longer. If an item is temporarily out of stock or if an item is not in stock, the delivery time is longer. Where applicable, the buyer is notified.

If the buyer orders shipping, ScandVolt in most cases uses the shipping company DHL. Normal delivery time depending on geography is then 1-3 working days. ScandVolt never takes any financial or other responsibility whatsoever for any delays due to the used shipping company. The current shipping price is presented automatically and reported in the checkout on the website. The shipping price depends on what the shipment weighs, if it is bulky, if it must be delivered on a pallet or in a box, transport distance, how many packages the shipment includes, etc.

At the moment it is possible to "cheat" the shipping system on the website under certain special circumstances. In the unlikely event that this happens to you, we will contact you and simply ask if you still want your order with the correct shipping price.

Orders received working days before 08:45 can normally be shipped from one of ScandVolt's warehouses the same day. Upon delivery, the buyer is always responsible for being able to quickly unload the goods from the vehicle when necessary to avoid extra transport costs. This is preferably done with a forklift or similar.

In the case of national transport, the risk for the goods only passes to the buyer after delivery. In case of possible return shipping, the buyer bears the risk all the way to ScandVolt's warehouse. In the case of international export transactions, the risk for the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping company, unless otherwise agreed.

Deliveries not redeemed or delivered to the buyer but not accepted but returned to ScandVolt will be charged the applicable shipping fee plus VAT to cover ScandVolt's transport and administration costs.

Otherwise, the following applies to spare parts:

  • If one or more spare parts are returned without agreement, ScandVolt is entitled to return the spare parts at the customer's expense.
  • Incorrectly shipped parts of ScandVolt must be able to prove from the customer that the spare part was incorrectly shipped. ScandVolt is responsible for return shipping, new shipping and full credit amount to customer. The customer must immediately arrange to have the part sent back with a waybill from ScandVolt.

Complaint

The buyer must always check the entire order at the time of delivery to verify that the goods are flawless. In order to claim faulty goods (e.g. transport damage, see below), the buyer must report the goods to ScandVolt immediately, but no later than 7 days from receipt of delivery.

In the event of a complaint, the buyer must contact the ScandVolt customer center via contact on the website and provide the order or invoice number as well as the reason for the complaint. After the buyer has received confirmation that ScandVolt has received the complaint, the buyer has another 10 days to ensure that the goods reach ScandVolt. If the complaint arrives after 10 days, ScandVolt will not be able to remedy the fault and the buyer must then himself be responsible for already incurred and future transport costs.

ScandVolt reserves the right to product control of the product and charge a handling fee of DKK 500 plus VAT to the buyer if the product proves to be faulty and the complaint is therefore not accepted. The buyer must then be responsible for already uppkomkom and future transport costs.

Transport damage must be reported by the buyer on receipt immediately on the transporter's shipping slip so that ScandVolt in general will have the opportunity to help the buyer obtain some form of compensation from the current shipping company. Transport damage must also be reported to the ScandVolt customer center on the same day as delivery receipt via contact on the website.

If there is a fault for which ScandVolt is responsible, ScandVolt undertakes, at its own discretion, to remedy the fault through repair, redelivery, credit or refunding the purchase price. ScandVolt's responsibility for product defects is limited to what is stated in these purchase conditions. ScandVolt thus bears no direct or indirect responsibility for example - but not limited to - misorders, delivery changes, damaging properties, loss of profit, interruption of operations, loss of storage information, additional work and/or other economic damage.

Otherwise, the following applies to spare parts:

  • Complaints regarding transport damage must be reported in connection with delivery or immediately to the distributor used by ScandVolt. It is the customer's responsibility to obtain compensation from the distributor for damaged or mishandled goods. ScandVolt has no responsibility for the customer to receive compensation from the distributor, but can assist in registering a claim.
  • The complaint period for work performed by ScandVolt service mechanics is 6 months and must have occurred in connection with service or repair.
  • A complaint regarding work carried out by a ScandVolt service mechanic covers rework (mechanic costs) in connection with any fault recurring within 6 months due to defective mechanic work. The exception is work on periodic errors that are not there during visits and/or cannot be provoked. Repair work carried out on direct instructions from the customer is not covered either by reklamationsrätten.

Right of withdrawal

ScandVolt follows the law on distance contracts according to the Konsumentverket's guidelines. Individuals who shop via the Internet or telephone have the right to return the ordered goods in the same condition as they were when they were received, without having to indicate any reason. However, messages about this must be sent to the ScandVolt customer center via contact on the website as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days from when the goods were received.

ScandVolt offers a 10-day customer satisfaction guarantee, which means that companies (or buyers who have acted outside the distance agreement) have the right to return ordered goods in the same condition as they were received without reason within 10 days of receipt. Please note that the 10-day customer satisfaction guarantee never applies to leasing. The buyer is always responsible for all transport costs that arise when using the customer satisfaction guarantee.

Otherwise, the following applies to spare parts:

  • ScandVolt provides a 6-month warranty on original parts that are not wearing parts. It is assumed that normal use and correct installation have been carried out. Customers with a service agreement with ScandVolt have a 12-month warranty on original spare parts that are replaced by a ScandVolt service mechanic or service partner.
  • Return of spare parts is only accepted if agreed with ScandVolt. ScandVolt's return slip must be sent with the return, with all information correctly filled in and with the marking given to the customer by ScandVolt's salesperson.
  • The return claim must not exceed 10 working days calculated from ScandVolt's invoice date.
  • The parts must be in new condition and the packaging undamaged. ScandVolt has the right to reduce the price of the part by 30% in case of credit (so-called return fee).
  • The return of spare parts must be made no later than 5 working days after the customer has been approved by ScandVolt's handlers. If this is not met, ScandVolt has the right to reduce the credit amount by an additional 20% in addition to the return fee.
  • Special order, normally not in stock items are not accepted for return.
  • Electronics and electronic components are not accepted for return.

Guarantee

ScandVolt leaves a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects on batteries and energy storage. ScandVolt makes no additional warranties beyond what is specified. The guarantee never applies to wear and tear or handling errors.

Otherwise, the following applies to spare parts:

  • ScandVolt provides a 6 month warranty on original non-wear parts. It is assumed that normal use and correct assembly is done. Customers with a service agreement with ScandVolt have a 12-month warranty on original spare parts that are replaced by ScandVolt's service mechanic or service partner.
